Château Monregard La Croix 2018 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers richness, intensity as well as a good finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, blueberry and small notes of raspberry associated with fine touches of juicy red berries, flowers (rose, lilac) as well as fine hints of liquorice and vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very finely tight and offers a good definition, juiciness, precision, gourmandize, freshness as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, fleshy/juicy raspberry and small notes of juicy/fleshy blueberry associated with small touches of fleshy/juicy raspberry, flowers, liquorice sitck, Bourbon vanilla as well as very discreet hints of chocolate. Tannins are well-built. Good length. There is an imperceptible hint of coffee on the finish/persistence.
