The nose reveals notes of cassis, black cherry and berries associated with small notes of lily, pepper as well as hints of blueberry, gouache, spices (in the background) and tonka bean. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, tight, racy and offers a good definition as well as fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, black cherry and blackberry associated with small notes of wild strawberry, small crunchy red fruits, a hint of bulb, subtle touches of toasted, caramelization as well as a very discreet hint of zan and sugared mild tobacco. Tannins are well-built.
