The nose is juicy, fruity and fresh. It expresses notes of roasted red cherry, fresh morello cherry, blackcurrant, crushed strawberry, red cherry and raspberry, combined with menthol notes, dried mint, licorice, white pepper and clove. There are also floral touches of violet, cornflower and savoury notes of coffee and toast. The palate is tight, but quite juicy and balanced. The wine expresses flavors of blackcurrant, ripe morello cherry, black plum, strawberry and red cherry, as well as mint chocolate, coffee, licorice stick and fresh violet. The tannins are drying but integrated. The finish is tight, with lively acidity and a tannic side of the wine. Good structure and good length. Good development potential.
