The nose is elegant, racy, deep, nicely unctuous and concentrated, with an elegant darkness. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, pulpy cassis and small notes of roasted-elegant red berries, associated with touches of star anise, crushed rhubarb, as well as discreet hints of zan and a subtle, almost balsamic hint. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, unctuous and gourmand with a tangy frame, precision, tension and gourmandise. It expresses notes of unctuous cherry, cassis and small notes of small brilliant/bright fruits, associated with touches of crushed raspberry, cornflower, licorice stick, toast and chocolate, with a hint of blond tobacco. A complex, gourmand wine. Freshness and juiciness, nice persistence.
