The nose is liquorice and fresh. There are notes of star anise, crushed blackcurrant and, to a lesser extent, pulpy raspberry, combined with hints of crushed berries, fine hints of fresh blond tobacco, as well as a hint of fresh nutmeg and a discreet touch of pepper. The palate is fresh, mineral, balanced and offers good definition, a fresh/mineral structure, a certain juiciness and a little crunch. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crisp/fresh raspberry, juicy/pulpy blackcurrant and more slightly blackberry combined with hints of red fruit, vanilla, chocolate, toasted hazelnut as well as hints of fresh nutmeg and a very discreet hint of dark chocolate. The tannins are very finely marked. A wine marked by red fruits. A discreet varietal touch in the background.
