Château Mondou 2023 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, mellow and offers a certain burst of fruit and depth. It expresses notes of pulpy raspberry, pulpy blackcurrant and more slightly – blueberry associated with touches of spices, infusion and a discreet hint of pepper and aromatic herbs. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a certain freshness, tension, minerality. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, juicy/pulpy raspberry and more slightly – fleshy/juicy blackcurrant, associated with touches of fleshy/juicy blueberry, as well as hints of blueberry, sweet blond tobacco. Fine mellow on the finish/persistence/ a fine hint of roasted-juicy/Mediterranean side of the fruit.
