The nose is spicy, a little peppery and offers a slight power. It expresses notes of pulpy/fresh wild blackberry, creamy blackcurrant and more slightly – creamy strawberry, associated with touches of pepper, lilac as well as small hints of smoke and blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a little creaminess in freshness, good definition, accuracy, a fresh structure, a certain roundness, richness in lightness. It expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, creamy blackcurrant and, more slightly, tonka bean associated with touches of graphite, small roasted fruits as well as hints of vanilla and fine hints of cocoa and toast. The tannins are soft and gourmand. A nice minerality, a fine powdery side on the finish/persistence.
