The nose is quite ripe and precise. It needs to be decanted. It presents aromas of wild blackberry, fresh roasting and cornflowers associated with touches of elegant-roasted red fruits as well as fine hints of cherry blossom and sweet spices. The palate is beautifully carried, fresh, mellow, precise and offers a beautiful maturity, deepness, a certain elegant austerity as well as darkness. In mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe wild blackcurrant, black berries and small notes of roasted fruits associated with touches of violet cornflower, iris as well as nuances almost of fresh gravels, sage, camphor and a discreet touch of aromatic herbs. Tannins are precise and racy. A touch of coffee is perceived in the background.
