On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/quite ripe cassis, small quite ripe black fruits, cornflower associated with touches of plum, crushed raspberry, dry blueberry, liquorice, tobacco, cigar box as well as fine hints of nutmeg and almond. Tannins are well-built, elegant and offer a certain straightness as well as firmness.
