Château Moine Vieux 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Château Moine Vieux 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose benefits from being decanted. We find notes of blackberry, racy minerality, and, small notes, small fresh fruits, associated with touches of flint, sweet pepper and a hint of zan. The palate is fresh, mineral, balanced, with a tangy structure and great energy. It has good definition, juiciness and substance, a certain thickness, energy and a stretched side at the same time. We also perceive notes of fresh and juicy wild blackberry, wild raspberry, as well as small fleshy and juicy berries, associated with touches of cornflower, iris, and hints of graphene/graphite, as well as a subtle touch chocolatey. Tannins are fresh, sapid and supple.
