The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The first nose is savoury and fragrant: it expresses notes of torrefaction (toasted hazelnut, coffee, toasted wood) and sweet spices (vanilla, a hint of cinnamon, nutmeg, liquorice in the background), which complement each other in the second nose with notes of black plum, morello cherry, wild strawberry, red plum and raspberry, as well as a touch of mint, even a little sappy, expressive and refreshing and a floral hint of cornflower. The palate is round, suave and ample, but at the same time straight and structured. It expresses the flavors of ripe morello cherry, wild blackberry, wild strawberry and black plum, combined with touches of dark chocolate with mint, menthol, notes of torrefaction and distinct sweet spices (coffee, hazelnut). toasted, toasted wood, licorice, vanilla, nutmeg). The finish is quite persistent, sapid, chocolatey (with good cocoa bitterness) and dynamic, thanks to its flavors of juicy and ripe red fruits which develop at the end of the palate, good bitterness and lively acidity. The tannins are silky and powdery, even chocolatey. Gourmandise and complexity.
