CHÂTEAU MEYRE 2022 – Haut-Médoc

CHÂTEAU MEYRE 2022 – Haut-Médoc

The nose offers a certain powerful, clean and « frank » grain, and would benefit from decanting. It reveals notes of wild strawberry, gray pepper and small notes of nutmeg, associated with touches of little fairly ripe red fruits as well as a hint of cassis and tobacco. The palate is mineral, racy, supple, with gourmandise, a lovely texture and substance, racy. It expresses notes of cherry, cherry pits and small notes of small bright red berries, associated with touches of violet, cassis, as well as hints of lilac, fine hints of fresh blond tobacco. Good length. A wine with finesse, delicacy, gourmandise and a hint of chocolate and sage in the background. Tannins are mellow.
