The nose is fresh, fruity, racy and reveals a fine spiciness and a fine intensity/power. There are notes of ripe wild blackcurrant, violet and more lightly fleshy/fresh strawberry combined with fine hints of nutmeg, toastiness and a fine touch of cardamom and a discreet almost herbal/spicy edge. The palate is fruity, balanced, racy and offers minerality, juiciness/minerality, good definition, acidity, smoothness, straightness and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/crisp blackcurrant, fresh lily and more slightly acidic currant combined with hints of crisp/fresh cherry, nutmeg and a touch of cardamom and vanilla. Good length. Some mellowness on the finish. A nice little stretch and gourmandize on the finish/persistence.
