On the nose, elegance, racy and offering harmony/subtlety, fullness, depth and controlled freshness. Notes of pulpy boysenberry, bright blue fruits and more slightly bright strawberry associated with touches of bright blue plum, zan, sweet blond tobacco, fine points of nutmeg, vanilla, cornflower as well as discrete points of iodine minerality, grey pepper and graphite. The mouth is fruity, elegant, balanced, racy and offers a nice freshness, a nice power in delicacy and finesse, harmony, gourmandize, roundness, suavity, richness, complexity, a multi-layer side, a nice fineness of grain, depth and subtlety. On the palate, expressing notes of bright blackberry, violet, blueberry and more lightly bright blue fruits combined with hints of graphite, cardamom, sweet blond tobacco, bright blueberry, pulpy cherry as well as hints of vanilla, toast, nutmeg, Cuban pepper and a subtle hint of vanilla. The tannins are precise, elegant and mellow. Good length and sapidity, mellow, discrete pockets of caramelization as well as an imperceptible hint of coffee on the finish/persistence. Bravo ! In my opinion, the best Meyney tasted during primeurs!
