The nose is fruity, fresh and offers good definition, power, fine grain and intensity. There are notes of pulpy redcurrants, fresh/juicy wild strawberries and slightly crunchy black berries combined with fine hints of violets, saline/iodine gravel as well as fine points of blond tobacco and a subtle almost cumin-like edge. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality/mineral structure, juiciness, a certain brilliance of fruit, pulpiness, gourmandise, precision and good definition. Powerful and fresh. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, crunchy raspberry and slightly crunchy redcurrant notes combined with hints of violet, camphor, mocha as well as a subtle hint of vanilla, toastiness and a discreet touch of toasted hazelnut. Good length.
