The palate is fruity, racy, well-balanced and offers a beautiful elegance, finesse, tension, suavity, a small fleshiness, a beautiful silkiness as well as a beautiful finesse of the structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy raspberry and small notes of cassis associated with touches of licorice, blueberry, racy minerality / warm gravels, hints of tonka bean, toasted as well as very discreet hints of coffee and hazelnut. Tannins are structuring. There is a very discreet hint of almond on the persistence.
