The nose is fruity, elegant, quite fine and relatively powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry, plum and slight notes of black berries associated with a touch of graphite, Zan as well as a hint of sweet spice, concentrated licorice and a fine hint of tobacco. The palate is fruity, gourmand, elegant, racy, a bit sleek and offers minerality, freshness (in the background), a certain concentration, depthness, harmony and a small acidity (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry and dark berries combined with a touch of blackberry, cassis as well as a hint of Zan and sweet spices. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length. Beautiful tannic structure.
