Beautiful ruby color dress with piping “brighter” on the edges of the glass. The nose develops notes of spice, white pepper, blueberry and cassis. A wine that is more complex than its little brother, the Prior of Meyney 2008. On the palate it expresses notes of flint, black fruit (blackcurrant, blueberry, blackberry) associated with small red fruits (cherry red ripe) and a few hints of green pepper. The palate is fresh, full, powerful and always reveals a little earthy notes. After oxygenation in the glass berries become more intense. A wine that I would advise to keep a few years (at least 3 years).
