The nose is slightly tight and offers a slight intensity as well as a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, red berries and subtle / discreet touches of cassis bud associated with hints of gravels and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, mineral, fluid and offers a slight gourmandise, a slight straightness, a good structure and a slight suavity (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, cherry and slight notes of redcurrant associated with slight touches of blackberry as well as subtle toasted touches, racy minerality and an imperceptible hint of cassis bud. Tannins are slightly firm. Good length.
