The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of wild red fruits, cassis and fine hints of blackberry combined with slight touches of wood, liquorice as well as a hint of roasting oak and a discreet hint of leather. The mouth is fruity, mineral, relatively elegant, relatively silky, a bit fleshy, a bit juicy and offers a good volume and fat. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, plump flesh and slight notes of blackberry combined with a hint of wild strawberry and discreet notes of sweet spices, vanilla (very discreet) and toasted wood. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
