The nose is fruity, racy and discreetly tight. The wine wins if it is decanted. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, small ripe black berries and more lightly wild strawberries associated with small touches of black cherry, liquorice as well as a subtle hint of fresh blond tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, freshness, a fine creaminess, a fine grain, a certain/small tension, gourmandize as well as a certain controlled richness. This wine expresses notes of juicy / luscious blackberry, luscious raspberry and more slightly fleshy strawberry associated with touches of crushed cassis as well as hints of violet, licorice and a subtle hint of sweet blond tobacco. Presence of a hint of toasted hazelnut on the finish / persistence.
