Château Mayne Vieil 2021 – Fronsac

The nose is fresh, a bit tight and offers a certain power as well as a small varietal side. There are notes of violet, lilac and small notes of crushed cassis associated with slight touches of crushed small red fruits,  blue fruits as well as liquorice stick hints and pepper. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, un small fat, a fine roundness, precision as well as a stretched side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ pulpy blackberry, cassis and small notes of red berries associated with touches of cornflower, badian and liquorice. Supple and sapid tannins. Freshness.
