The nose is fruity and offers a fine intensity, elegance and a fine grain. It reveals notes of ripe cherry, ripe Gariguette strawberry and small notes of cassis associated with fine touches of toasted, ripe/crushed blackberry as well as fine hints of iris/violet, discreet hints of spices/vanilla and a very discreet hint of Cuben pepper. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, gourmandize, tension as well as a racy minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of fleshy cherry associated with fine touches of violet, cornflower as well as hints of racy gravels, sweet spices and hints of nutmeg. Tannins are elegant. An imperceptible varietal hint on the finish. Good length.
