Château Mauvinon 2020, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 

On the nose, aromatic and offers a mastered power, a nice texture, controlled intensity, and a certain density/obscurity. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, violet and hints of small bright blackberries associated with touches of creamy black plum, lily and fine touches of lilac with a discreet varietal note in the background. On the palate it is fruity and offers freshness, juiciness, minerality, good definition, a certain gourmandize, an acidic structure, subtle tension and richness. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, violet and hints bright blue plum associated with touches of bright raspberry as well as hints of cornflower, zan, cardamom, fine hints of black tea and a  subtle roasted note (in the background). Good length. Sapidity at the end of the palate / persistence.
