The nose is fruity and offers gourmandize, a fine deepness/concentration as well as a juicy/ripe fruit. It reveals notes of black berries, small red fruits (berries, raspberry) associated with fine touches of flowers, Cuben pepper, discreet hints of liquorice as well as an imperceptible hint of tea and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, an acidulous frame, dynamism as well as a good freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy/ripe cassis and small notes of ripe/juicy red berries associated with a touch of juicy/crunchy raspberry, fine touches of flowers (violet, cornflower) as well as hints of tonka bean, toasted almond, a very discreet hint of sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of iris (in the background). Tannins are finely fimr. Good length. Fine chew on the finish/persistence.
