The nose is fruity, fresh and offers creaminess, good definition, freshness and minerality. There are notes of pulpy/fresh blackberry, blackcurrant and some bright red berries combined with hints of violet, cherry as well as vanilla, nutmeg and a delicate touch of toastiness. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, a certain gourmandize as well as some tension, juiciness and acidity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright cherry and, more discreetly, boysenberry, combined with hints of violet, lilac, liquorice and a discreet hint of sweet blond tobacco. The tannins are precise, well-managed and offer a fine roundness. Good length.
