The nose is racy and offers a fine power and spiciness. There are notes of wild strawberry, wild blackberry and, to a lesser extent, pepper, combined with hints of lily and fine nuances of fresh nutmeg. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a certain crunchiness of fruit and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses crunchy cherry, pulpy blackcurrant and slightly violet notes combined with hints of fresh lily and a subtle touch of pepper, chocolate and toast. Good length. A subtle saline/savory edge and good work on the bitter taste.
