The palate is fruity, juicy, suave and offers a fine gourmandize, a fine unctuosity and a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, crushed cassis, small notes of pulpy small red berries associated touches associated with touches of violet, liquorice, chocolate as well as fine hints of cloves. Tannins are well-built.
