The nose is fruity, finely tight and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of bright blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of raspberry associated with touches of lilac, pistil as well as hints of caramelization, liquorice and a very discreet hint of roasted. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a juicy/mineral frame, tension and fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, pulpy/juicy blackberry, crushed raspberry and small notes of small red berries/redcurrant associated with touches of violet, cornflower as well as subtle hints of tobacco, liquorice, a very discreet hint of caramelization and almond. Tannins are structuring.
