The nose reveals notes of blackberry and violet combined with hints of ripe red berries, a subtle touch of cherry as well as a discreet toasted touch and hint of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice fresh frame, minerality, a slight juiciness, a slight acidity (in the background), fat and roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cherry, fleshy strawberry associated with touches of blackberry, slight hints of cassis (in the background) as well as slight touches of vanilla/wood, cardamom and spices. Tannins are slightly chewy. Good length. There are a slight touch of bitterness and a slight hint of chocolate on the aftertaste.
