The nose is aromatic and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis and violet associated with hints of red fruit, racy minerality as well as subtle hints of spices and a very discreet / imperceptible hint of pepper. The palate is fresh, fruity, and offers juiciness, tension and a certain finesse / straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry, raspberry and cassis associated with touches of melted chocolate, caramelized oak and a subtle hint of wood / hazelnut. Tannins are fine, structuring and slightly firm. Good length. There is a hint of caramelization on the aftertaste.
