The nose is aromatic, revealing spiciness, power and a fine, slightly powdery texture. There are notes of violet, fresh Morello cherry and more slightly fresh wild blackcurrant combined with delicate touches of spice and a subtle almost saffron touch (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, acidity, precision, tension, purity, some concentration and a discreetly tight structure. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy cherry, violet and more lightly lily notes combined with hints of fresh blackcurrant as well as fine hints of fresh flowers/pink and discreet hints of tonka bean. Good length.
