The nose is fruity and offers a very fine gourmandize. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and crushed raspberry associated with a hint of ripe/crushed redcurrant as well as subtle/discreet hints of violet candy and a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine minerality, gourmandize, a good volume, fat as well as suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild raspberry, wild ripe red berries and blackberry associated with fine touches of zan as well as very discreet hints of flowers/iris (in the background). Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Good length. There are very fine hints of caramelized/toasted almond and nut on the finish/persistence.
