Château Marquis de Terme 2024 – Margaux, Cru Classé

The nose is relatively discreet, delicate and offers subtlety. It reveals notes of boysenberry, small wild red fruits and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of lilac, violet, as well as a hint of pulpy cherry and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, juicy and fresh. It offers minerality, a fresh frame, subtlety, a fine pulpy side, gourmandise and sapidity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, fleshy/juicy cassis and small notes of small pulpy/bright red fruits, combined with touches of racy minerality, iodine, as well as hints of blond tobacco and a hint of clove. Good length. Mellow, elegant tannins. A wine offering freshness, a hint of varietal in the background and a sappy, almost pine-needle side.
