On the nose, fruity and offers some beautiful power and a little minerality. It reveals notes of bursting blackberry, blueberry and more slightly graphite associated with touches of crushed strawberry, small black berries as well as hints of gravel (terroir), graphite as well as fine hints of star anise and a subtle touch of vanilla. On the palate, mineral, masterful and offers mastered richness, harmony, fat, a certain roundness as well as a small side contained in its richness and power. The wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, small crushed black berries and more slightly of kirsh cherry associated with touches of strawberry, licorice, caramelization, cardamon as well as fine hints of chocolate, hazelnut (in the background) and an imperceptible touch of coffee (in the background). The tannins are massive and a bit mellow.
