Château Marojallia 2019 – Margaux

The nose is fruity and offers a nice little richness/concentration, elegance and a certain delicacy in its racy power. There are notes of crushed blackcurrant, fleshy/chunky raspberry and more slightly blueberry combined with hints of camphor, racy minerality, fine hints of crunchy cherry as well as discreet hints of chocolate, sweet spices and a subtle hint of Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, balanced, elegant, focused, precise and offers freshness, minerality, delicacy in its power, a beautiful concentration, a certain subtlety in its richness, a nice substance as well as a fine airy side in the approach. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crushed blackcurrant, crisp cherry and, more slightly, pulpy strawberry, combined with hints of tonka bean and fleshy/juicy black berries, as well as fine hints of fresh blueberry, a fine iodine touch and a discreet hint of toasted almond. Some chewiness on the finish. Nice persistence (12 caudalies). Positive bitterness. The tannins are discreetly dry/powdery.
