Château Margaux 2024 – Margaux, Cru Classé

Château Margaux 2024 – Margaux, Cru Classé

(93% Cabernet Sauvignon) Elegant, spicy, beautifully fine nose offering depth and complexity. There are notes of crushed boysenberry, creamy wild strawberry and small notes of cornflower, associated with lovely touches of minerality, a fine smoky touch, as well as fine hints of toastiness, nutmeg, lilac, a fine hint of almost small wild black fruits and a subtle hint of toasted. The palate is well-built, fresh, mineral, elegant, nicely defined, airy, delicate, fine and offers a fresh/tangy frame, precision, a pretty finesse/delicacy in its energy, a pretty floral side, a certain concentration in precision as well as depth. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, crunchy cherry and small notes of small fresh/juicy fruits, combined with touches of berries, black pepper, crunchy plum, star anise, as well as a hint of bergamot, spices and a fine infusion hint. The tannins are fine, fresh, elegant, airy and offer a fine, sappy side. Good length. Good work on the good bitters on the finish/persistence. Superb persistence (+13 caudalies). A wine that offers a soothing and delicate side, with plenitude.
