The nose is fresh, elegant, subtle, deep and offers harmony, intensity as well as a lovely delicacy in its infusion side. It’s a monster of fresh intensity. We find notes of boysenberries, bright wild blackcurrant and slight notes of violet, star anise associated with fine touches of iris, small crunchy fresh red fruits, almost roasted tips, a hint of fresh pepper. , with a subtle hint of saffron (on its flowery side) as well as a discreet hint of licorice stick, sense of place, fresh coffee and discreet hints of sap. The palate is balanced, very subtle and offers delicacy, elegance, depth, lovely precision, a smooth/textured side, lovely concentration as well as lovely definition. A wine full of complexity and charm. A beautiful material with an airy side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy and juicy blackberries, bright blackcurrant and slight notes of violet associated with touches of cardamom, blue plum (in the background), graphite as well as hints of sap, lilac, iodine, toasted almond, toasted and roasted. There is a nice density in flexibility and balance. Good job on the bitters. What density in the integrated tannins! Good persistence and length. It is an extraordinary wine but full of elegance and finesse. Congratulations!
