The nose is fine, aromatic, elegant/classy and offers a slight freshness as well as a beautiful power (full of finesse!). It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fresh strawberry and fresh cassis associated with slight hints of grilled oak, a very discreet hint of coffee, violet, chocolate and vanilla. The palate is fruity, fine, fluid, mineral, charming/enveloping, beautifully elegant/delicate and offers fat, a slight acid frame as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/ripe blackberry and hints of red fruits, cassis associated with a discreet woody hint, licorice stick as well as discreet hints of chocolate (on the finish) and a hint of vanilla/sweet spices. Good length and persistence. The finish is suave and gourmande. There is a very discreet hint of salinity and an imperceptible hint of grilled bread on the persistence.
