The nose is fruity, elegant and powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry, blackberry cream, cassis and slight notes of mocha, undergrowth associated with hints of truffle, (very) slight notes of clove as well as a toasted hint and discreet hints of spice. The mouth is fruity, juicy, round and offers a beautiful finesse, a nice suavity as well as a beautiful acid frame (on red fruits). On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackberry cream, crunchy gariguette strawberry and slight hints of plum, blueberry combined with discreet touches of licorice, chocolate as well as slight touches of caramelized oak. Good length and persistence.
