The nose is elegant, racy, fine and offers deepness. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and small notes of wild small fruits associated with fine touches of strawberry, Sichuan pepper, violet, liquorice as well as hints of spices and a discreet hint of nutmeg. Currently this wine needs to be put in carafe. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, a beautiful racy gain, a fine acidulous/juicy frame, a fine suavity, a fine fat as well as harmony/delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, fleshy/juicy blackberry and small notes of fleshy/juicy raspberry associated with very fine touches of violet/cornflower, fleshy strawberry, a fine hint of small berries as well as fine toasted hints, almond, nutmeg and chocolate (in the background). Tannins are well-built and elegant.
