The nose is gourmand, well-built, elegant, slightly powdered and offers a fine richness as well as depthness. It reveals fine notes of cassis, blackberry and tonka bean / chocolate powder combined with fine touches of wild strawberry / red berries, spices as well as discreet hints of flower and a subtle / discreet hint of vanilla. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, racy, precise and offers a beautiful definition, a fine roundness, a beautiful finesse of the grain, tension as well as a small silkyness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, blackberry, juicy / ripe black berries and small notes of wild strawberry, ripe / juicy red berries associated with subtle touches of fleshy fruits, fine toasted touches, vanilla / oak, almond as well as discreet touches of sweet spices and a very discreet hint of iodine minerality. Tannins are fine, elegant, (very) slightly tight. Beautiful potential!
