Château Mangot – Cuvée Todeschini 2008 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is aromatic and offers power as well as concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, chocolate and small notes of fresh / fleshy red fruits associated with touches of truffle, gray pepper as well as very discreet hints of almond (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, elegant, silky and offers a beautiful definition, a small concentration, a beautiful guideline, a fine intensity as well as a beautiful racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy / juicy raspberry and small notes of fleshy / juicy redcurrants associated with touches of undergrowth / truffle as well as very discreet hints of sweet spices (in the background). There is a fine acidulous touch on the finish / persistence.
