The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant and offers a certain depth, energy as well as a nice definition. It reveals notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, juicy/pulpy blackcurrant and small notes of lily associated with touches of bright berries, star anise, fine hints of Bourbon vanilla, graphene, almost rosemary/aromatic herbs as well as a subtle hint of Cubeb pepper and a delicate hint of saffron (in its floral side). An iodized character. The palate is fruity, balanced, racy, nicely carried out and offers freshness, minerality, tension/straightness, a tangy frame, smoothness in freshness, good definition, a certain gourmandise, power in accuracy and precision. A nice texture and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright blueberry and small notes of small bright red berries associated with touches of cornflower, sweet blond tobacco, fine hints of graphite, sage, a hint of fresh flowers as well as a discreet hint of infusion/fresh black tea and toasted-fresh/vanilla. Good length. A nice mellow, even chalky tannins. Good persistence. A very discreet sappy hint in the background.
