The nose is fine, aromatic and a bit powerful / concentrated. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis associated with fine notes of flowers, truffles as well as hints of mocha and a discreet hint of bell pepper. The palate is fruity, sleek, suave, racy and offers juiciness, an acid frame, a good definition and a silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cherry and fine notes of cassis associated with touches of crushed strawberry as well as slight notes of licorice, caramelized oak and chocolate on the finish. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
