The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral/finely acidulous frame as well as juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, juicy blackberry and small notes of juicy raspberry associated with a touch of juicy blueberry, fine hints of liquorice, tonka bean as well as a subtle hint of cardamom, sugared mild tobacco and a very discreet varietal hint. Good length. A very fine and almost saline hint (in the background).
