The nose is fruity and reveals power. There are notes of concentrated strawberry, kirsch cherry and more lightly blackcurrant combined with hints of pepper and fine toasted/spice notes. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a juicy/acidic structure, a certain elegance, precision and tension. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, kirsch/ripe cherry plus light crushed raspberry notes combined with delicate touches of racy minerality, cherry blossom and a subtle hint of mocha. Good length.
