Château Malescot St Exupéry 2024 – Margaux, Cru Classé

The nose is fruity and offers a certain concentration and depth. It reveals notes of fleshy cassis, concentrated blackberry and concentrated wild strawberry, associated with fine touches of lilac and small ripe wild red fruits, as well as a mineral hint. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, mineral, well-balanced, it offers a fresh frame, juiciness, suppleness, gourmandise, pulpiness, mellowness and brilliance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, cassis and small notes of violet plum, combined with touches of lilac, small red berries, as well as a hint of sweet tobacco, smoke and a subtle hint of vanilla. Good length. Mellow, sapid tannins. A wine offering gourmandise. A very discreet, almost coffee and sappy hint in the background.
