The nose is aromatic and offers power as well as a beautiful grain. It reveals notes of cassis, Boysen berry, flowers (violet, rose) associated with touches of Gariguette strawberry, hints of toasted, nutmeg, chocolate as well as discreet hints of vanilla and an imperceptible hint of almond (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very finely tight and offers a good definition, a small juiciness, suavity, a small silkiness, gourmandize, a fine firmness/fleshiness, a good structure, a fine acidulous frame as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy Boysen berry, juicy wild strawberry and more slightly flowers associated with touches of fleshy raspberry, hints of juicy violet plum as well as discreet hints of liquorice, toasted, chocolate, cardamom and a very discreet hint of vanilla. Tannins are elegant and well-built.
