Château Malartic-Lagravière 2023 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is mineral, fruity, fine, elegant and complex. It offers a lovely silky texture, notes of boysenberry, violet and small notes of roasted wild strawberry, associated with fine touches of cornflower, lilac and a discreetly iodized hint, graphite and a subtle hint of toast. The palate is beautifully mineral, fresh, balanced and offers silkiness, freshness, a fine tension. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright raspberry and small notes of fresh/bright blueberry, associated with touches of bigarreau cherry, as well as hints of cornflower, infusion and a subtle hint of star anise and mocha. Good length. Savory and mellow tannins. Lovely freshness and minerality.
